Jen Whaley has sharpened her skills as a writer, manager and content marketer extraordinaire by serving clients in numerous industries for more than ten years. The combination of her content marketing and PR knowledge, journalism background and sports-minded attitude deliver a no-nonsense approach to marketing and public relations.
In 2007, as an account executive for a large advertising agency in Indianapolis, Jen lead the public relations efforts for one of the department’s largest accounts. In approximately six months, Jen generated over 1.5 million impressions and over $250,000 worth of earned media for the financial industry client.
Then, in 2008, as the community development manager at Special Olympics Indiana, Jen completed a certification from The Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University. She was also responsible for organizing and writing grant requests to fund Special Olympics Indiana’s programs.
Graduate of Butler University and a former college athlete, Jen joined the Will’s Way Board of Directors to support its mission to provide the necessary tools to help type 1 diabetic children manage their diabetes and improve their quality of life.
